Angel Reese is an American college basketball player who was born in Randallstown, Maryland on 6 May 2002. She gained fame when she started to play for the LSU Tigers of the Southern Conference. Her fame did not stop there, she came up with the flourishing colors in the NCAA March Madness Women`s Title game that is held in 2023.
She was a student when she started to play basketball. Soon after she won the title, she became the first woman to be a champion for LSU. Later her fame has grown immensely and now she is working hard on herself to mark her name in history and make one of the biggest names in basketball history.

As we have already mentioned earlier that Angel Reese was born in Randallstown, Maryland United States on 6th May 2002. Her mother’s name is Angel Nee Reese and her father’s name is Micheal Reese. She also has a younger brother whose name is Julian. Both Angel and Julian were mainly raised by their mother and their mother’s parents. Her mother’s parents’ names are Curtis Webb and Barbara.
Talking about her family, we come to know that this basketball craze was in her blood. Because both her mother and father used to play national-level basketball. Angel Reese says that her parents are her main inspiration, she has been watching them since she was a kid. Both parents of Angel have played for the University of Maryland. Later both of them played professionally overseas in Luxembourg. Her mother was also named Angel and she has helped her daughter a lot in learning. She taught her as much as she can so that her daughter dominates the game with divergent colors.
Talking about other sports, Reese used to play numerous games during her high school time and college time also. These sports include Ballet, tracks, and swimming as well. Moreover, later Angel Reese joined the basketball club and started to participate more and more. Talking about the initial days of basketball, she used to play the point guard position until she didn`t hit her growth sprunt.
She began her basketball career while she was attending the high school and her high school name was ST. Frances Academy was in Baltimore. Reese scored 24 points and 24 rebounds in the National Semifinals Game, but despite this much hard work and efficiency, they ended up losing.
During Angel Reese her four years at ST. Frances Academy, she played hard and led her team to two conference titles and three straight championships. Furthermore, if we talk about her overall position at her high school, she was rated as the second-best player of the class of 2020. Having this much good scope in sports, there were numerous Colleges that wanted her but Angel Resse choose to go to her mother Alma Maters and that was very near to her house.
Reese tried out for the United States team for the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Women’s Americas Championship but was not selected. She was a finalist for the 2018 Under-17 World Cup team but did not make the cut. Before withdrawing to participate in the Nike EYBL, Reese was designated a finalist for the 2019 Under-19 World Cup team. Angel Reese withdrew from consideration for the Under-19 World Cup in 2021 due to health concerns after being invited to team trials.
Reese made her national team debut for the United States at the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup in Mexico. In her debut, she had 11 points and nine rebounds in an 80-54 victory over Venezuela. Reese had 13 points and 18 rebounds in a 68-49 quarterfinal win over Colombia. She contributed to her team’s silver medal by scoring four points and grabbing six rebounds in a 69-58 loss to Brazil in the final.

Among others, Reese has secured NIL arrangements with Amazon, Bose, Coach, Discord, Outback Steakhouse, Sonic, TurboTax, Wingstop, and Xfinity. She unveiled the Angel C. Reese Foundation in July 2023, with the goal of empowering females via athletics, education, and financial literacy.
